Rooms are really small but have awesome views of the Empire State Building. The rooftop bar amplifies the noise at night, which can be a bit bothersome.

The rooftop bar offers stunning views and a great atmosphere to unwind. The rooms are small with limited storage, which might be a squeeze for some. Perfect location for exploring the city and close to subway stations. No mini fridge in the room was a bit inconvenient. Enjoyed the vibrant vibe here, especially on weekend nights with live music. Staff were friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant stay.

clean room, clean hotel with a comfy bed and a great view of the Empire State Building from the 29th floor that enhanced my stay and a fantastic central location making it easy to explore local attractions and enjoy nearby restaurants.
Nothing, no complaints at all.

The room’s bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep. Temperature control was efficient, keeping the atmosphere pleasant. The high floor offered stunning views over the skyline, and noise from The Fleur was minimal, enhancing relaxation. the room felt quite small for a family of four, limiting space for luggage. The shower was fantastic but had a broken door, which was inconvenient. Light seeped in from a broken curtain in the morning. the amenities and staff interactions were enjoyable, though some transparency on extra fees would have improved the experience.

The room had a stunning view of the skyline. Staff made my daughter's birthday special with balloons and a mirror message.
It wasn’t cheap, but it's still reasonable for what you get.

The location was fantastic, with great views and a stylish lobby that welcomed us. Staff were friendly and helpful, though there was confusion over the $30 credit for the café. The room was cozy, complete with a comfortable bed and large windows, though I missed having a coffee machine. Minor annoyances like the awkward sink design and dark elevators stood out, but they didn’t overshadow the experience. Just expect to wait on the elevators, especially at peak times. Would definitely recommend for an enjoyable stay!

I absolutely loved how easy it was to explore the city from here, with iconic landmarks like the Flatiron Building just about 800 meters away and Macy's less than 700 meters down the street; I walked to the New York Public Library, Rockefeller Center, and even Madison Square Garden, all within a pleasant stroll, plus the vibrant Chelsea district is just bursting with lovely bars and restaurants right nearby, making every day an adventure; the hotel also offered comfortable rooms and friendly staff, but I noticed some minor amenities could use a little more variety.

I was really frustrated with the setup at this hotel. They offered a daily room credit, but if you didn’t spend it all, it vanished. It felt ridiculous, especially when you’re staying multiple nights. Super annoying!

Decent position, close to transit and walkable to key attractions. The view from the room? Stunning—empire clouds drifting by as I relaxed. The café and bar were lively, adding to the vibe. cleanliness is crucial; bed sheets weren’t up to par. The staff didn’t impress. Mix-ups at check-in led to extra charges I had to chase down. A $5 bottle of water is excessive, especially when basic amenities fell short. Storage was nearly nonexistent, with just three hangers for clothes. Tight quarters posed challenges for more than two. There’s potential here, but they must prioritize cleanliness, customer service, and room functionality. Positive elements but major room for improvement.

I loved the stunning rooftop bar with a breathtaking view. The ground-level coffee shop offers self-serve coffee, saving me from morning lines and crowds.
The elevators took forever and felt like a sauna.

Enjoyed feeling like a posh Roman with Italian snacks and drinks at Francesco Panella's bar. The compact room didn't bother me - chic design was worth it. The rooftop bar gave me a bird's eye view of the city.
Tiny room? Noisy streets?

Great views and friendly staff. Rooms are tiny and a bit overpriced.

The hotel had stunning floor, to, ceiling windows in the bedrooms, which made the stay particularly special. The staff were lovely, very attentive, and friendly, providing excellent service. We were even given a high room with amazing city views for our wedding anniversary. The top floor bar offered possibly the best views of the city at night in all of NYC. It was a magical experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.
The check, in process lacked warmth and felt rushed, lacking personal touch. There was confusion and attitude regarding the $30 hotel fee, leading to frustration.

Location was superb , steps away from Manhattan and the Empire State Building. The modern and chic vibe added to the experience. The $30 daily credit for dry cleaning and cafe use was a helpful perk.
The rooms were too cramped for my sister and me, with limited space for luggage. the lack of parking options and the high price for hotel private parking without in, and, out privileges were disappointing.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast bar was pretty good. But, there were definitely some downsides. The rooms were on the smaller side, especially for a family. It felt cramped, and there wasn't much space to put our things. The cleanliness in the rooms was hit or miss, I noticed dust even after they were supposedly cleaned. I also found the design choices a bit odd, a huge telephone on a tiny nightstand taking up all the room, and a lack of privacy in the bathroom due to thin glass doors. Oh, and the elevators took forever, which was a bit frustrating. One thing that really disappointed me was the rooftop bar. They wouldn't let our 17-year-old daughter up there, not even to see the view. It felt like a missed opportunity for us to enjoy the experience as a family. Moxy Chelsea had its charms, but there were definitely some areas that could use improvement. I hope this helps paint a clear picture for anyone considering a stay here.

We partied at the free fitness classes and got our groove on at the DJ sets. The rooftop bar was next level! The vibe was on point, and we lived for the monthly events like comedy shows. It was pure fun and hype all the way!
We'd love more late-night options for the squad to keep the party going strong.

Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! The central location allowed us to easily explore all the amazing sites in Manhattan. The view of the Empire State Building from our room was breathtaking. The trendy hotel had a great atmosphere, with a lively bar and a cozy cafe on the main floor. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The functional rooms were clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The complimentary Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception were convenient amenities that added to our overall experience.
Con: The only downside was a minor issue with one staff member who was rude during the check-in process.

we had a great stay at Moxy. the location was outstanding, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions. the room, although small, was well-designed and had everything we needed. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the property was beautiful and well-maintained. the views from the restaurant and our room were incredible, and we appreciated the lovely scent pumped into the public areas. overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
All was good 😊
